3 BEST HOME REMEDIES TO REMOVE FACIAL HAIR
Besan and Malai
This is by far the most popular and effective home remedy to remove facial hair. Not only is it painless, using it regularly is known to inhibit further facial hair growth too.
Things you will need:
1 tbsp besan(chickpea flour)
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tbsp malai
½ tbsp milk
Directions:
Start by cleansing your skin well.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to form a smooth paste.
Apply this paste on upper lips and other areas with unwanted facial hair in direction of the growth.
Let this paste sit on your skin until it is semi-dry.
Now start scrubbing this paste off your skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth. The scrubbing action will help pull off facial hair.
Wipe your face with wet, warm cloth to clean it thoroughly. Repeat these steps again every 2-3 days to get rid of all the hair.
Egg Whites And Cornstarch
This home remedy is easy to use since all the ingredients are already present in your kitchen. Egg Whites are really sticky in nature which helps in removing facial hair by preparing a peel-off facial mask.
Things You Will Need:
1 egg white
½ tsp cornstarch
1tsp sugar
Directions:
In a medium sized bowl, whisk all the ingredients together until it forms a smooth face.
Apply a thin layer of this mask on your face in areas of hair growth.
Once the mask is completely dry, start peeling it off your face gently in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Rinse your face thoroughly with water.
Gelatin And Milk
Gelatin is a thickening agent used in several desserts. But it is also a gentle and effective home remedy to remove all your unwanted facial hair in a jiffy.
Things you will need:
1tbsp unflavored gelatin powder
2 tbsp of milk
Directions:
In a glass bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of gelatin and 2 tbsp of milk.
Put the bowl into a microwave and heat for 15 seconds. You can also use a stove to melt the gelatin to make sure you don’t heat it too much.
While the mixture is warm but not hot, use a popsicle stick or a butter knife to apply the mixture evenly on your upper lip and side burns. (Patch test it on the back of your hand to make sure it’s not too hot)
Allow the mixture to dry completely on your skin. Once dry, start peeling it off against the direction of your hair growth. Your facial hair will stick to the gelatin and come off easily.
Rinse the area clean with water.
